COMMISSION. Yesterday a man named Kilbride was sentenced to death, haring been convicted for escaping from the Hulks at Dunleary, at the same time that Curran, who was sentenced to transportation for the attack on Mr. Butterworth, was shot in the attempt. The original conviction of Kilbride, was for having robbed the Church of Dunleary. The learned Judge Johnson in passing sentence of death, told the criminal that he had no prospect of mercy.
