The Quarter Sessions of the Peace for the county of Wilts was held in this city on Tuesday and Wednesday last, in which John Kimber, for stealing one bushel of wheat in the chaff, the property of John Johnson, Bishopstone; Thomas Ferris, for stealing two pigs, the property of John Yeats, of Fisherton; and Daniel MacFee, for stealing a remnant of serge and two silk handkerchiefs, the property of Thomas Sheriff, were ordered to be transported for seven years.
