James Kirby Onboard Eden 27th August, 1836 arriving at Van Diemen's Land 2/4/1836 Gloucestershire Chronicle Gloucestershire, England: James Kirby, aged 20, charged with breaking open the dwelling-house of John Humphreys, of the parish of Minchinhampton, on the 18th of November last, and stealing eight sovereigns, six silver tea spoons, two pounds in silver, and other articles. Guilty - life. James Kirby was 22 years old on arrival - he was 5'10½" tall, fresh complexion, light brown hair, hazel eyes king middle finger right hand. 1839: Was a constable 4/12/1845: Recommended for a CP 16/12/1845: CP
