Family connections for Mary (Langan) are: LANGAN Mary (Langa/en/Lannigen) was tried in Dublin city in 1796, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 27 5 1797 after a voyage of 5.5months on BRITANNIA; she was Catholic. She was sent to Rose Hill Parramatta. She had a relationship with James (Kelly) & produced 3children. She was Free by Servitude by 1805. In 1825 she is recorded as with James (Kelly) at Wilberforce. She is recorded in 1828 with her family at Swan Reach Wallis Plains (Maitland). [Some details taken from this Website] James (Kelly) was born about 1775. He was tried for highway robbery & stealing a watch etc, on 22 5 1791, of Richard (Levermore) at Old Bailey on 8 6 1791, sentenced to death reprieved to Life, held at Middlesex Gaol Delivery & arrived in NSW as a convict on 7 10 1792 after a voyage of 4.5months on ROYAL ADMIRAL; he was Catholic. He was sent to Rose Hill Parramatta. He was Free by Servitude by 1800. He had his Ticket of Leave by 1805 & a grant of land. He moved to Hawkesbury area in 1800s. He was Pardoned on 31 1 1814. In 1825 he is recorded with Mary (Langan) at Wilberforce. He is recorded in 1828 as with his family on 640acres at Swan Reach Willis Plains (Maitland). He died in 1833 age58.
