Liverpool Standard and General Commercial Advertiser Lancashire, England 8 Jul 1836 William Dixon, aged 25, and William Langley, for stealing three sovereigns, the property of Benj. Bateman. William Dixon arrived per 'Prince George' 1836. William Langley was listed as 40 years old on arrival. Native Place: Chester. William was literate, Protestant, single, 5'6" tall, dark and pockpitted complexion, dark brown hair, grey eyes, mark of a bile under left jaw, mermaid on upper, woman ELWLEmcG, glass, two pipes, double heart, pierced with two darts, May the wing of Liberty never loose a feather, lower right arm, WSL, man, woman on upper, man and woman, EL, may the wings of happiness never rest, and bird, lower left arm. ??/1/1841: TOL Maitland 2/3/1842: TOL Passport, Maitland Bench. Allowed to proceed to New England in the service of Mr. Marsh for 12 months. 17/5/1845: COF - Listed as 50 years old.
