John LEACH was convicted at Gloucester Q.S., England on 4 Jan 1831 for stealing carpenter’s tools and pots. Gaol Report: previous convictions & bad character. 7 yr transportation sentence. Sent to Van Diemen’s Land (Tasmania) per the ship ‘Larkins’ arriving 19 Oct 1831.
Married man, wife Sarah living nr Tewkesbury. 1 child.
