VDL records: Married man - wife Sally at native place. Two children. Native Place - Co. Roscommon, Ireland. Aged 30yrs; farm labourer; 5'3 1/2" height; pale complexion; dark brown hair; pale blue eyes; Roman Catholic. Brother: Patrick Sisters: Catherine & Mary (ref. Convict Indent records) Stationed at the hospital, New Norfolk, VDL. Some notes of misconduct and punishments. 8 Feb 1850: Ticket of Leave granted. 1852: at Morven (now named Evandale, in the north of the Colony) 16 Nov 1852: Conditional Pardon approved.
Edward LENNON was convicted at Roscommon, Ireland on 28 Dec 1842 for sheep stealing. 14 yr transportation sentence. Sent to Van Diemen's Land per the ship 'Constant' arriving 26 Aug 1843.
