Convicted for striking a sergeant. Served in 39 Regiment in India. Prior conviction of 6 months in Cells. Height 5 ft 7 inches; complexion Ruddy and freckled; Hair Light sandy and blue eyes. Assignment and Employment of Convict in 1839 assigned to Mr Robert Campbell as a watchman at Lob's Hole (near Queanbeyan. Colonial Secretary correspondence muster roll 1827-1857 in September 1842 sated that Amos Lines was assigned to Mr Robert Campbell. Queanbeyan Deposition papers 30 January assigned to Mr Robert Campbell employed as a bullock driver. Found guilty of disobeying an order by A. T. Faunce J.P. Punishment: Admonished in court. Native place Leicestershire. Died 27 March 1846 aged 33 Labourer and died from Heart Disease and general dropsy. Buried in Oaks Estate Burial Ground.
