I have Mary Ann Rice died 29 Jun 1854 at Goulburn and Richard marrying Ellen Farthing nee McCourt on 19 Sep 1854 so it seems he may not have been a bigamist in the law, but he probably cohabited with Ellen before Mary Ann passed

Richard was married to Mary Rice and Eleanor Farthing at the same time. A bigamist!
