James Lunny, for Bigamy. To be transported for seven years. The Crown prosecuted here. Rev. Mr. M Kenna, and brother and sister of  the first wife were examined. There was nothing material beyond the mere facts. Enniskillen Chronicle, 21 July 1842.

Age 25, 7 years, Catholic, cannot read nor write. Married, 2 wives. Offence: Bigamy - 1st marriage to Katherine McCaffrey 4 or 5 years since – last November I married Mary May, of Co. Fermanagh, for assault, discharged. Surgeon’s Report, Good. Trade, Labourer. Native place, Co Fermanagh. Remarks: S, Nancy Mary Ellen Biddy.
