167604 McCarthy Patrick - 1831 AO NSW Convict Indents Fiche No. 680. Errand boy from Cork age 13. Tried 13 January 1831 and sentenced to 7 years transportation for stealing from the person. Assigned to G.T. Palmer junior at Hunter River on arrival. Description: 4ft 5in, ruddy fair freckled complexion, light brown hair, grey eyes. Scar around part of right eye. Small one right side of forehead. Brother Daniel McCarthy arrived in the colony two years previously.

Born - Cork Ireland. Single - brother Daniel McCarthy arrived about 2 years earlier.
