Recorders Court Yesterday Sir Jonas Greene, Recorder, assisted by Sir Robert Shaw, Bart, and Alderman Hamilton, sat at the Sessions House, for the trial of prisoners. … Michael Madden (a boy) for picking the pocket of Wm. Milling, Esq. of a handkerchief, value 5s. who stated, that on Tuesday last he was walking with some ladies near the Collegegate, when a woman, who had the prisoner in custody, tipped him on the arm and told him that his was picked; witness instantly searched prisoner, and got the handkerchief on him.
