John MAHON was convicted at Dublin 12 Aug 1841 for stealing a silk handkerchief from the person. 7yr sentence. Transported to Van Diemen’s Land (Tasmania) per the ‘Richard Webb’ 1842.

Aged 17yrs; labourer; Roman Catholic.
Native Place - Dublin

18 months. Stationed at Fingal, VDL.
Numerous assignments, misconduct and punishments.
