Irish Convict Database by Peter Mayberry. Patrick Maloney, alias Malowney, Atlas II 1802, Tried at Limerick, 1801. Life. Found in 1811 muster. ---------------------------------------------------- The Commissioners for hearing and determining claims to grants of Land, within the colony of New South Wales, under the Act of the Governor and Council 4th William IV. No. 9, do hereby give Notice, that the following Claims have been filed with their Secretary :—To wit : No. 292. By Saul Lyons, wine merchant, Sydney, to 30 Acres of Land, by an order of Lachlan Macquarie to Patrick Maloney, described as follows, viz, a Piece or Parcel of Land or Ground, House, Warehouse, Outhouses, Buildings and Sheds, situate, lying, and being in the township of Maitland and district of Wallis Plains, bounded on the north-east by the River Hunter, on the south-east by M‘Donough’s premises, on the south-west by the High-street 2 chains 76 links, and on the north-west by Mr. A. B. Sparke’s land to the River Hunter, commonly called Boucher’s premises or the Rose Inn. No. 293. By Saul Lyons, wine merchant, Sydney, to 30 Acres of Land, granted by Lachlan Macquarie, Esq. then Governor, to Patrick Maloney, described as follows : viz. a piece or parcel of land, situate, lying, and being in the township of Maitland, containing 37½ rods, be the same more or less, being allotments numbers 1 and 2, bounded on the north by a reserved road of 8 feet, with a right of 8 feet of road to the river, on the east by land formerly belonging to A.B.
