Convict Notes
Wm. Gaver, James Travers, and Samuel Mathews, three little boys, aged about twelve years each, were indicted with Andrew Ryan, for stealing clothes and other articles belonging to Mr. Stafford. The three boys were found guilty; Ryan was acquitted. Dublin Morning Register, 1 Sept 1829. Robbery. David Gavin, Samuel Mathews, John Travers, (young boys) and Arthur Ryan, were indicted for feloniously entering the house of Stafford, Esq., and taking therefrom a dressing-box, a razor, a checque shirt, and some other articles The three youngsters were found guilty —Ryan acquitted. Clonmel Herald, 5 Sept 1829.
