Court House, Windsor, 27th May, 1826. Whereas JOHN McCABE, Ship Daphne, who has recently received his Certificate of Freedom, stands charged on Oath, before the Bench of Magistrates at Windsor, with having STOLEN A BAY FILLEY, the Property of BENJAMIN SOUTH, of Richmond— All Constables and others are requested to use their utmost exertions in apprehending the said McCabe, so that he may be brought to justice, as it is expected that he is attempting to leave the colony. By Order of the Bench, GEORGE GILKS, Chief Constable. The Monitor, 2 June 1826.
