Andrew McCann was 20 years old, single and his native place was Meath County. His occupation was a "Spadesman/Labourer". Andrew was 5'1 1/4" tall, brown hair, blue eyes, freckled and pock pitted complexion, blind in right eye. Assigned to John Kennedy at Appin. 3/6/1836: TOL Goulburn 9/2/1839: COF 1843: Married Mary Picken (listed as Mary Picking) at Yass. They had 2 children, 1846 Andrew James McCann (not listed in the NSW BDM) and 1848 Mary McCann. March 1879: Andrew died being thrown from his cart. He is buried in the Catholic section of the Yass cemetery.
