Native Place: Kilkenny Brother: Henry Sister: Mary Aged 24yrs; 5'7"; single; Roman Catholic; farm labourer, then 3yrs in the 16th Regiment; ruddy complexion; blue eyes; brown hair. Van Diemens Land: Station Gang: Broadmarsh, 21 mths. Died at Broadmarsh 19/12/1844. Memo to Superintendent 20/12/1844.




Mark was convicted at the Royal Barracks, Dublin of mutinous conduct in threatening to shoot Sgt. Collins of the 16th Regiment. 14 yr transportation sentence to Van Diemens Land, on the 'Cadet' arriving 24/08/1844.
