Ship Surgeon's report: very good. 5'7";24 yrs of age; ruddy complexion; dk brown hair; Hazel eyes; married, 1 child; Roman Catholic; read & write; ploughman/farm labourer.Has been a soldier. (Lost part of right thumb & left little finger. Ring on left hand. Native Place: Co. Derry. Van Diemens Land: Convict no. 45630. Station Gang: Broadmarsh, 15mths. Emerged from gang 24/11/1845. Clear conduct record. Assignments: Broadmarsh; Spring Hill; Oatlands. In hospital 1847, 1849 & 1850. Ticket of Leave 24/03/1848 Free Certificate 22/04/1857.
