William McKay was 18 years old on arrival in NSW.
1841: TOL Port Phillip
31/5/1842: Maitland Court: William McKay (free) sentenced to 15 years at a penal settlement for stealing from a dwelling house.
4/7/1843: Arrived VDL per Sir J Byng.
William was now described as: 23 years old, 5’6 1/2” tall, fresh complexion, brown hair, blue eyes.
