Convict Notes

New South Wales, Australia, Convict Indents, 1788-1842 Bound Indentures 1814-1818 Native Place; Calling: Servant Age; 29

The English GenWeb Project "List of Prisoners in Chester Gaol 1815-1816" had Mary's other aliases as well as the name of her husband, Robert Armstrong (who was transported on the "Northampton). Mary had a previous conviction, along with Robert for tendering base coins. Her age was supposed to be 28.
Mary McMahon appears to have been assigned to Richmond and might have been working for Bowman the surgeon. (The films for the "Mary Ann" are too faint to read. It's also possible that later she became the wife of Michael Ryan (per "Batavia" 1818) and was the mother of Margaret, baptised at Windsor on 21st February 1822.
