Patrick and Stephen worked for Captain Bagot and are on the SA Census of 1841
Stephen admitted to Maryborough Hospital Vic - residence Alma in 1870 aged 71
Stephen died on 5/7/1873 under the name of Stephen McMain in the Benevolent Asylum in Ballarat .
Stephen was buried in the Ballarat cemetery under the name of Stephen McMahon in 1873
Stephen was married in the district of Newport in County Tipperary in Ireland on 25/6/1817 to Margaret Wahan. They had 2 children

Stephen was 5’7” tall, sallow complexion, brown hair, blue eyes, cut on point of curve and upper lip and over forehead, several marks of cuts on top of head.

Assigned to the Engineer Department.
