John was sent to the Kilmainham Gaol before being transported to Australia. John McQuade married Jane Newbigging in Penola SA in 1855. They had 5 children most of their descendants still reside in the South East of South Australia.

John McQuade was 15 years old, and came from Armagh. John McQuade is not listed in the NSW Gov. records or anywhere else that I can find, maybe he didn't make the trip. Also not on the sick list of the ship.
