Thomas Melody,  per Medina, Tried at Queens County, 22 Jul 1822,  7 years, Labourer.  Colonial Sentence: Gen. Sess. Sydney, 20 July 1825,  3 years. To Sydney 22 Dec 1827.
Description: Thomas Mellody, native of Queens Coy, age 32, 5 ft 8, Fresh comp, fair hair, grey eyes.


Police Report, 20 July.
Thomas Melody, a prisoner of the crown, who had been for some days under examination on a charge of having in his possession certain articles of slop clothing belonging the Government, and the manufacture of the establishment at Parramatta, was this day brought up, and being unable to offer any efficient or available defence, was sentenced to be remanded to a penal settlement for the term of three years.
