James Metcalfe, (Aged 23) for robbing Geo. Barrow, on the highway, at Thornton-in-Lonsdale, of a woollen coat, and other articles.
James Metcalf/e was listed as 22 years old on arrival.
Native Place: Yorkshire.
James was illiterate, single, 5’7½” tall, fair ruddy complexion, fair hair, brown eyes, small scar of cut at corner right eye, near the temple.
Assigned to Col. Wall??? for his farm at Prospect.
