Mary Mooney was convicted at Longford, Ireland on 6 April 1841 for Larceny - stealing a watch. One previous offence. Gaol report: good. 7yr transportation sentence. Sent to Van Diemen’s Land (Tasmania) per the ship ‘Hope’ 1842. Ship’s report: quiet and well disciplined.
