One woman and 7 children died on the voyage. At least 2 children were born during the voyage. The Surgeon Superintendent was Dr Wylie, R.N. and the Matron, Mrs Evans. The Arabian arrived at Hobart Town, February 25 1847.

Anne Mulholland, age 33, Country servant, Tried Londonderry, 27 July 1846, 7 years, Native place, Co. Derry. Single, 2 children, catholic, can neither read nor write. Relations: Father, Lawrence. Brothers, Edward, Michael, Patrick; Sisters Ann, Biddy, Mary, at N.P. 7 years on the Town. Offence: Stealing a one pound note from the person at Coleraine. Several times for drunkenness. (McGinty and Eliza White aboard for same) ------------------------------------------------------------------ Jane Loague, Mary Anne McGinty, Eliza White, and Nancy Mulholland, were indicted for assaulting one Isabella Lafferty, on the 12th July last, at Edenballymore. Guilty; to be transported for seven years. Belfast News-Letter 31 July 1846.
