Catherine Murphy, convict no. 51607, was convicted at Cork City on 25 Feb 1842 on charge of Larceny. 7 yr sentence. Single.
Departed on the ‘Hope’ 10 Apr 1842 from Dublin for Van Diemen’s Land (Tasmania). The ship arrived 17 Aug 1842 Hobart.
Good conduct report.
Catherine died at sea, on 8 May 1842 - from pneumonia.
