Catherine Murphy married john linnell. I am 5 generation to these people their son William linnell was my father grand father and my dad spoke of these people often calling mum Mrs Murphy with affection . I visit Catherine’s grave at red Hills at Bushy park Tasmania and over the years have painted it and kept an eye on its wellbeing. I have taken photos of all the family graves John linnell is up at Hamilton in the English church yard unmarked. Their son William married again after the death of his first wife Mary ann Bond who is buried along side Catherine at Red hills William is buried with his second wife Mary Brown at Cornelian bay in Hobart.
