23/10/1838 Kentish Gazette Kent, England: EAST KENT QUARTER SESSIONS William Matthews, aged 15, Timothy Neal, aged 13, and William Newton, aged 13, for stealing from a dwelling-house at Bapchild, a gold brooch, a saucepan, a twopenny piece, two pounds and a lalf of pork, a pound and a half of cheese, a watch chain, and other articles, the property of William Pullen.__Seven years' transportation. William Matthews was onboard the 'Egyptian' 1839 to VDL. William Newton was onboard 'Pyramus' 1839 to VDL. Timothy Neal was listed as being 15 years old on arrival - he was born in Whitechapel, London. Timothy was 4'5½" tall, dark brown hair, blue eyes, 1 dot left hand, can read. Father: Richard (don't know where he is Sisters: Biddy, Mary, Jane - at native place. 28/10/1846: Free Certificate. 9/11/1846: There is a departure listed for a Timothy Neale to Port Fairy, Victoria.
