Thomas Needham was 15 years old on arrival - his native place was: Leicester. Thomas was illiterate, 5'4½" tall, sallow complexion, dark brown hair, brown eyes, scar on left eyebrow, another outside left eye, slight impediment in his speech, T x N inside lower right arm, small mole on upper left arm, scar on each knee. 1845: TOL Queanbeyan 30/3/1850: COF May have married Eleanor Dargin, St. Matthew's, Sydney, in 1852. If so he died aged 67 on 14/1/1878. **There was also a Thomas Needham who was an opal miner at Lightening Ridge, who died 1910.
