Moreton Bay Prisoners Register. Patrick Neal, per Ferguson, Tried Wexford, 13 Mar 1828, for Larceny, 7 years. Trade, Cutler. Colonial conviction: Gen Sess.Wallis Plains 14 Aug 1829, for Repeatedly absconding and committing various robberies, 3 years. Returned to Sydney, 28 Feb 1833. Description: Native place, Waterford, age 22, 5 ft 7 ¼ ins; sallow pock-pitted comp, brown hair, hazle eyes, catholic.




WEXFORD ASSIZES. The following convictions took place in the Crown Court : Sentenced to death.—John Leary, Margaret Kinsella, and Thos. Ivory, for murder. Patrick Crowe, James Kough, and James White, for committing several robberies. Seven Years' Transportation.—Patrick Neal, Judith Keating, and Thos. Pitt, pig stealing.— Geo. Pitt, burglary and robbery. Kilkenny Moderator, 22 March 1828.
