London Courier and Evening Gazette London, England 8 Sep 1827 John Robinson, the elder, aged 29, Lawrence Robinson, 16, Robert Robinson, 18, Henry Nelson, 22, William Nelson, 20, James Nelson, 29, and John Robinson, the younger, 22, were indicted for having wounded, and killed a bay filly, the property of John Walmsley, at Farrington. They were also charged with having wounded, and cut, one black horse, and one black gelding, the property of George Green at Farrington......... The Jury found John Robinson the elder, and Henry Nelson, guilty, and acquitted the others. John Robinson, the elder, was also on board. Listed as Henry NILSON on his convict indent on Ancestry. Henry was listed as 23 years old on arrival. Native Place: Lancashire. Occupation: Carter and farming man. Transported for 'Killing a horse'. Henry was literate, 5'8" tall, pale freckled complexion, brown hair, grey eyes, scar on right eyebrow, red swelling on left eyebrow, scar on chin, scar on back of neck, ???? JTWSD on right arm, scar on right side of upper lip. Assigned to Bathurst (cannot read name). 14/5/1845 The Sentinel, Sydney: BATHURST: INQUEST.__An inquest was held at the Black Bull Inn, in our township, on Wednesday, before J. Sutherland, Esq., Coroner, on the body of a man named Henry Nelson, who dropped down dead the previous day, about a quarter past five, in George street, in our township ; verdict, died from apoplexy, accelerated by an intemperate use of ardent spirits.
