In November 1844, Mary Ann McKenzie @ Margaret Dobbie, Margaret Newman or Bell @ Buchanan @ Clelland and Isabella McStravick or Buchanan appeared at Edinburgh High Court of Justiciary for sentence. The three accused had already been convicted at Glasgow Circuit High Court for having several false coins and material for manufacturing false coins. Each received transportation for 7 years - see Scotsman newspaper 20 November 1844 p 3 on 'High Court of Justiciary'.
