Dorset Lent assizes. Dan Norman was convicted of breaking and entering warehouse belonging Mr. James Edwards, Bridport, and stealing a bag, some cheese, lard ... Salisbury Journal, 24 March 1834. The following seventeen convicts, under sentence of  transportation, were removed .on Tuesday from our County Gaol and placed board the hulk, in Portsmouth Harbour, viz. For Life: ...
