Thomas Norton, aged 20, was indicted for wilful and corrupt perjury in his evidence, us a witness against two prisoners, for felony.  The evidence, which was very brief, proved the case, and the Jury returned a verdict of Guilty. Morning Herald, 20 Aug 1821. … and Thomas Norton, for wilful and corrupt perjury, the trial of Hewlett and Ireland, indicted for felony at the last Assizes, be severally transported for seven years....
