The convict indentures states that Francis O’Brien is 16 years old.  He could read and write: religion Roman Catholic; status single and is a native of Dublin.  He was an errand boy.  Francis was convicted of shop lifting at Dublin City on 25 January 1836 and sentenced for 7 years.  He had one prior convictions and served 9 months.  Physical attributes: Height 5 feet 0 inches; complexion ruddy and freckled; hair brown and eyes hazel.  Transport number 53.  Prisoner number 36-1858.
Received ticket of leave in 1842 (number 42/31).  Received Certificate of Freedom in 1843 (number 43/2108).
