Originally from County Clare. Convicted of vagrancy in 1830 in the city of Cork. Left Cork on the 'Edward' and arrived in NSW in 1831. Married Mary Ann Costello c 1839 and lived at Goulburn NSW. He was a publican.He had 10 children, at least 7 were alive when he died at the age of 47.
