Philip O'Reilly was 41 years old on arrival and he was transported "for writing a seditious letter relative to bad landlords). Philip was born in Roscommon, was 5'5" tall, could read and write, was married to Susan with 6 children, RC, fresh complexion, brown/grey hair, light brown eyes, scar on upper lip - rather bald. Father: Francis Mother: Rosana Brothers: Francis and George all at native place. Excellent behaviour on board noted. Received a TOL almost on arrival. 21/9/1850: Applied for his family to be brought out to VDL. 6/4/1852: CP Philip's wife Susan died on 8/5/1876 at Brighton, aged 69. He then remarried in 1876 to Sarah Flynn (per Waverley 1847). Sarah was Sarah McTigue who married Peter Flynn (per Bengal Merchant 1834 to NSW).
