Isaac Moore or Pamment was born in August 1803 in Norfolk to Anne Barker, age 38, and Abraham Moore, age 38. The Larling parish register shows "Isaac Moore, son of Ann Pammont, supposed by Abraham Moore, the woman being deserted by her husband, was baptised privately August 8th". Although he was Abraham's son, Isaac used the Pamment name throughout his life. Isaac Moore or Pamment died on 26 July 1889 in Victoria when he was 85 years old.
Isaac Pamment was 5'10 1/2" tall, sallow complexion, brown hair, red whiskers, black eyebrows and grey eyes. 22/9/1846: TOL 21/12/1850: Departed Launceston on the 'Sydney Griffiths' as a steerage passenger bound for London. He had a Conditional Pardon.
