Married Elizabeth Skinner 10 Oct 1828 in Bigbury Devon.  Joseph was transported to Australia, arriving in Sydney on 30th January 1839.  Elizabeth & 3 of 4 children arrived in Sydney on 11th November 1853.  The family lived in the Black Creek / Liverpool Plains area of NSW.
