Tried and convicted at the Somerset Assizes on 29th March 1828, sentenced to transportation for 7 years.
Left England on 1st September 1828.
Ship:- the ‘Vittoria’ sailed with 160 male convicts on board of which 9 died during the voyage.
Arrived on 17th January 1829.

Married widow Ann Andrews, (nee Tunks, daughter of soldier William Tunks & convict Sarah Lyons, ‘Lady Juliana’ 1790) in October 1834 at Sydney, Ann died 2 months later, on 7th December 1834 at Parramatta.
John the married Ann Foston (daughter of convict William Fawson aka Foston, ‘Prince of Orange’ 1821) on 23rd February 1836, they had 3 children between 1836-1841.

Citation details: Vol 03, Baptisms, 1834-1838; Marriages, 1834-1838; Burials, 1834-1838; p. 14, 1836, no. 55
John Pervey [Sic], free, aged 33 of the parish of Parramatta and Anne Foston, free age 20 of the parish of Parramatta were married in this church by banns this 23 day of Feb in the year 1836 by me Samuel Marsden.
John Pervey and Anne Foston made their X marks in the presence of Charles Blakefield of Parramatta and Catherine Blakefield of Parramatta who both signed the register

Ann died on 29th November 1865 at Parramatta, John died on 12th May 1880 at Parramatta.
