Mary Jane Porter was 21 years old on arrival in VDL and was born in County Down, Ireland.

Mary Jane was 4’11 3/4” tall, blue eyes, brown sandy hair, arms and hands freckled, fresh complexion, single.

24/11/1845: Application to marry James Gardner (Albion 1823) no registration at the time.

They married in 1848 (listed as Gardiner) and also had 1 female child in 1848.
