Was committed for poaching in the night , but was indicated for maliciously drawing the trigger of a loaded gun, thereby attempting to shoot a person with the intent to murder; on being found guilty sentence of death was recorded, and afterwards commuted as above.
married in England with a daughter when sent to Australia.
