The prisoners had been sent from Telemon, on the Logan river, to Brisbane, with wool, and instead of returning with the case of brandy and other articles delivered to them for their employer, remained for several days drinking, having their bullocks yoked up for two days, and finally returned to the station minus three of the bullocks and the case of brandy, which they said was lost. Three bars of soap were also missing. They were sentenced to three month's imprisonment, and their tickets to be cancelled.
