Family connections for James Pusill) are: PUSEL James (Pusell/Pusill/Purscell/Puzle) was born about 1822 at Liverpool Lancashire. He became an errand boy & was tried at age16 for stealing at Lancaster Quarter Sessions, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 25 10 1837 after a voyage of 3.5months on JAMES PATTI/ERSON. He was issued his Ticket of Leave in 1841 at Bathurst & his Certificate of Freedom in 1854. He married Maria (Tucker) on 26 12 1854 at Presbyterian Bathurst. In 1856 he was a shepherd; in 1861 he was a labourer at Dunns Creek; in 1872 he was listed as a farmer at Cherry Tree Hill Rockley. He died on 30 8 1895 age about73 at Burraga where he was buried.
