15/3/1851 Norfolk News Norfolk, England:

Timothy Puxley, aged 25, was charged with having stolen two hens, the propert of Mr. Snelling Roper ; and William Doughty was indicted for having received them, well knowing them to have been stolen. The Jury returned a verdict of Not Guilty.

Timothy Puxley was then charged with having on the 9th February, at Colby, stole a turkey, the property of Hanah Pearson.  The prisoner it appeared, from the evidence of Doughty, who was admitted witness in this case, sold the fowl to Doughty on the morning after the robbert.  The turkey was produced and identified.  Guilty.  The prisoner having been previously convicted of felony as sentenced to ten years’ transportation.

Timothy Puxley was 26 years old on arrival in WA.  He was Married with 2 children, 5’4½” tall, brown hair, hazel eyes, swarthy complexion, stout, H on right arm.

Occupation: Thatcher.
