James Raeburn was 15 years old when convicted, along with James Seelie, (John 1832) for stealing stockings from a shop. 16/8/1832: Syd.Gaz. - Raeburn, James, Errand Boy assigned to C Wallaghan, Illawarra. 27/9/1832: Assigned to G C Curlewis, Argyle. 11/4/1833: Absconded from Mr G C Curlewis. James was 5'1 1/2" tall, light brown hair, blue eyes, fair ruddy complexion. 13/2/1839: COF. There is a death on the NSW BDM for James Raeburn in 1887 at Liverpool. No proof it was him though.
