John Rayner was convicted at Gloucester on 04/04/1823 for stealing - 40/- from his Master. 14 yr sentence. Gaol Report: 1st offence Hulk Report: orderly Single man; Footman; aged 29yrs; mother & 5 brothers live in London. Last worked and lived with M. Randall, Blackheath. Native Place: Coggeshall, Essex. Assignments in Colony: 1824-26: F. Champion 1827: D. Lamb
