Edward Regan was indicted for stealing shawl, the property of S. Furse. The shawl had been hanging near the prosecutor’s shop-door, was snatched by the prisoner, and was found in his possession—Guilty, to be transported for 7 years ; old offender. Southern Reporter, 23 Aug 1827.
